Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Rob Griffith knew that his passion for drumming would end up being his career. While studying Music Management and Jazz Studies at the Hartt School (University of Hartford), Rob began performing around New England with artists of all types. This eventually led to his participation in the formation of Bronze Radio Return, an Indie-Roots-Rock band from CT.
As a member of Bronze Radio Return, Rob can be heard on all of the band’s recordings, including their current release, “Check One.” Their demanding tour schedule puts them on many stages across the world, from clubs to major festivals, including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Firefly Festival, Hangout Festival, Gathering of the Vibes, and many more. The band can be heard frequently on XM radio and on television, with sync placements ranging from Nissan and Starbucks commercials, American Idol, and Bill Murray’s latest movie “St. Vincent.” Because of these song placements, Bronze Radio Return has been affectionately dubbed “the band you’ve definitely heard, but may not have heard of….yet.”
Known for his percussion-laced recordings, deep-pocket, and vocal harmonies, Rob has developed quite the reputation as an extremely reliable and musical drummer. When not on the road with Bronze Radio Return, Rob tours, records, and produces records with other artists, including singer/songwriters Stephen Kellogg, Seth Glier, and many more.
