I’m Rob Griffith - a professional drummer, producer, engineer, and full-time survivor of the music industry (20+ years and somehow still standing). Thanks for finding me.

I tour, make records, and work with artists across genres on stages and in studios. I’m a member of the indie rock band Bronze Radio Return, best known for our international touring, hundreds of millions of streams, major festivals like Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, cruise ship festivals such as The Rock Boat and Cayamo — and yes, a show on a Southwest 737… while it was in the air. Just another day at the office.

We’ve also had the good fortune of nearly 200 syncs in TV, film, and advertising, including commercials for Apple, Starbucks, and Nissan, plus TV shows like Shameless… and, of course, our many unforgettable appearances on Teen Mom.

Over the years, I’ve worn a lot of hats: drummer, background singer, producer, engineer, mixer, tour manager, educator, consultant, negotiator, concert promoter, agent, talent buyer, accountant, record-label auditor - and the guy who reads the contracts after everyone else says, “It’s probably fine.” Always in service of the music my band, my collaborators, and I are putting into the world.

These days, while raising three kids, I work mostly from my studio in Connecticut doing remote drum sessions, making records, mixing tracks, creating with my band, drinking too much nitro cold brew, and spending a little less time in buses and vans that smell like farts… though I’m still down when it makes sense. I live for the adventure of making music, even when it’s offensive to the nostrils.

After two decades in this business, I’ve learned there’s the version of the music industry people talk about - and the version you only understand after living it. Lately, I’ve been sharing those experiences on social media under the name Riffin’ With Griff.
